  • 16 hours of English classes per week
  • Academic course: 4 hours per week
  • Price: $ 7,500
English course plus 2 academic courses:
  • EAP 4
  • 8 hours of English classes per week
  • Academic course: 8 hours per week
  • Price:  $ 6000
Homestay:
  • Single room
  • 3 meals a day
  • Price: $ 825 per month

English Language Proficiency

Admission to most academic programs at Capilano University is based on  the following English Language proficiency levels:
IELTS: 6.5 mit keinem Ergebnis unter 6.0
TOEFL (Internet): 83; (paper based) 560; (computer based) CBT: 220

General Fees

Apart from the tuition and homestay fees the following fees apply:
  • Application Fee: $ 128
  • Host Family Placement Fee: $ 250
  • Basic Medical Coverage (Guard me), per semester: $ 400
  • U-Pass (Transportation Pass): $ 120
  • Books: $ 300
  • The university recommends another $ 700 for miscellaneous fees per semester as living expenses.
This cooperation between Capilano University and Kanadaplus does not increase the cost stated on the university website for homestays and courses. The benefit for the students is extra personal support. This can be of great value in a situation where students need help, for example if students are unhappy with their homestay and need a new host family.
