Whistler, Squamish, Pemberton
This area is well known for its natural beauty, recreational activities and vicinity to Vancouver. Rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and white water rafting are among the many activities students enjoy here. It takes about an hour to reach Squamish from Vancouver, 45 minutes to reach Whistler from Squamish and another 20 minutes from there to get to Pemberton. All schools offer day trips to Vancouver and Victoria as well as many other excursions and activities.
The three high schools of this district are all technologically well equipped and have spacious sports fields, and all schools have ski- and snowboarding teams. This High School has a strong academic program, offering French Immersion, an Outdoor Recreational Leadership program and a Sports School. It is particularly suitable for students wanting to be on a ski/snowboarding team but has many more sports to offer: Rugby, cricket, volleyball, soccer, tennis, golf and mountain biking as well as track and field. There is also an impressive range of electives, including among other courses: desktop publishing, concert choir, sewing, psychology and cooking. Clubs include soccer, mountain biking, basketball and volleyball.

Howe Sound Secondary School
This school is located in Squamish and offers the regular academic program as well as Athletic and Student Leadership programs. It also offers Musical Theatre, remarkable cooking facilities and a wide range of electives: baking, sewing, wood and metal work are all possible courses as well as auto-mechanic classes. The school has ski- and snowboard teams and is known for its rock climbing classes. Soccer is an option for both girls and boys and clubs include the Physics Olympics Team, the Media Development Club, basketball and volleyball.

Pemberton Secondary School
Located in the centre of Pemberton north of Whistler, this school offers a strong academic program, First Nations studies, art and outdoor education. Among the many clubs, students can choose between basketball, volleyball, woodworking, mountain biking, cross country running, dragon boat racing and and leadership. The school has a ski- and snowboard team as well as a soccer team.
